Over the years producers of nonwoven fabrics and technical materials have continued to develop both quality and speed of production. By always putting the product at the centre of their attention they are able to keep prices contained and to remain competitive in the market. Often, however, they trade off their flexibility to conform to their business requirements and many are now only structured to supply large and/or bulky rolls for use on an industrial scale.  This has gradually created a lack of a certain type of service, leading to a shortfall in suppliers for particular products or niche industries and items made on a bespoke or customized level.
