The use of nonwovens in the home furnishings industry is in a constant state of growth. Small, medium and large production companies are continually making decisions to increase their use of nonwovens in the lining of couches, sofas and chairs for the non-scratch properties of nonwovens, and its resistance to sewing and ease of cutting. Characteristics such as softness as well as its non-toxic properties and the hypoallergenic nature of the material make nonwovens ideal for use as cushion linings.
