The advent of online commerce has brought with it a huge increment in the shipping of goods, via courier or traditional post not only in Italy, but across the continent.

This has expanded the need to use flexible packaging to provide adequate protection for products to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.

Flexible packaging has the advantage that is can be used to protect all many of articles to avoid costly damage to shipped goods. This is where Aster srl can help, by supplying its clients with packaging material in addition to nonwovens.

Aster deals with many types of flexible packaging, with the aim to be adaptable to various types of goods.

Polyethylene bubble wrap, according to the type of article it needs to protect, is available with either exposed or non-exposed bubbles. Both types of polyethylene bubble wraps are sold in rolls with widths up to 2m. Open bubble wrap can also be purchased in sheets up to 1800mm long.

Film is also used for packaging goods, and is sometimes incorrectly called ‘plastic wrap’. It is produced in different thicknesses to provide adequate protection to all types of goods. It is sold in convenient sized rolls making it easy to use just as much as is needed at any time. It is extremely easy to use and the 23my stretch film or stretch wrap is available in black, white or transparent, whichever is most suited to the product.

Black, white and clear stretch wrap and bubble wrap are not the not the only packaging products available at Aster. Adhesive packing or packaging tapes are also available, used to seal envelopes or packages. Adhesive tapes can be purchased in a range of widths and textures based on the type of packing required. These packing tapes are also available in a wide variety of colors.
